My name is Piper Kiser. I have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2005, and in private practice for the past seven years. I practice in Plano, Texas. My background and experience in this field are nuanced and contribute to my ability to work with a diverse clientele. My personal journey began with my participation in a 12-step program. I have been a client as well as a practitioner in the therapy process—with much success in both settings.

In the last 24 years I have personally addressed the following issues: family of origin, self-worth, abandonment, addictions (drug and alcohol, relationship, eating disorders, sexual abuse), domestic violence, premarital and marital counseling, child development (birth to teenage), as well as the aging process. I have also dealt with family issues regarding the coming-out process for homosexuality and integration of issues concerning sexual orientation into the family. Through concerted effort and a healthy spiritual practice, I continue to grow on a daily basis. I regard self-actualization and service to others as a lifelong process.
